[From Emily's Perspective]
They say to die young is a shame,
Where's the proof to back up that claim?
Everyone believes I haven't yet lived,
But there isn't a moment I wouldn't relive.
At the top of my lungs I say, "No,
I never had to be a widow,
Never saw what the world became.
I died without anyone to blame.
If anything I am glad.
Happy I'm gone, not mocking the sad.
I'm not saying that I wanna go,
Just telling you not to feel so low.
I'm always just heartbeats away.
I'm here when you have something to say."
So there, I have expressed my thoughts.
Keep a smile on, all one million watts.
Don't cry because I am now gone.
Cry because all your assumptions were dead-on.
